Core-Fit is a personal training studio that trains the body to work as a whole, with focus on joint stability and core control. This creates strength from the inside-out!
Offering a multitude of forms of training, we use specially designed equipment to strengthen the deepest muscles of the spine, pelvis, shoulders, hips, and abdominals. Suspension training, resistance training, and Pilate equipment all challenge the body's stability while increasing core strength.
Core-Fit provides training from the basic level for beginners, teaching proper technique and body awareness, to the advanced level, challenging the client with suspension training and Pilate equipment.
We also provide corrective training to eliminate muscular imbalances.
Repairing muscular imbalances allows the body to perform correctly, increases your range of movement, creates greater flexibility to achieve balance throughout all of your body, helps you avoid injuries during your sports activities, and ensures safety when doing weight bearing exercises.

Owner Sue Stevenson started as a fitness instructor 20 years ago, becoming a Personal Trainer in 1993. After suffering a spinal injury, she discovered the power of Pilates and became a Pilates instructor in 1999. She holds numerous certifications through fitness organizations and college, but her most valuable education was hands on experience.
Discovering Stott Pilates was the next major influence in her career. With her background in kinesiology and the principles of Stott Pilates, she found the perfect way to work out while strengthening the spine and correcting postural alignment.
